New Project

I officially started my new project at Booz Allen on Friday. After a few snags (one of the project managers thought I was showing up Monday) it started off ok. I’m not sure exactly what I’ll be doing. They were going to ship me off to training in Boston starting today, but it turned out it was overbooked. Something tells me that this project is a bit more fast-paced than my previous one …

Being back at The Booz Mothership (corporate office in McLean, VA) is pretty interesting. Things like natural light (windows), the internet, a desk bigger than my pinky, and fresh drinking water all seem like extraordinary luxuries. Sam said that he was institutionalized — he could never leave the SCIF environment for all that I just mentioned because it would overwhelm his senses. I can really see where he’s coming from.
